September 2020

We are pleased to send you an application form for membership of Aberfeldy RFC. This is being sent to you as an existing or former member or as someone whom we believe may wish to support the club via membership. If this is not the case, please advise us at and we will remove your name from our mailing list.

Our Annual General Meeting was held on 3rd August 2020. Any member who did not attend and would like a copy of the Annual Report and Audited Accounts should apply to the Secretary at Meantime we enclose a copy of the Chairman’s address to the Meeting from which you will see that despite the vicissitudes of Covid-19, the club is in good fettle and raring to get back to training, playing and socialising as soon as existing restrictions are relaxed.

We also look forward to progressing our Youth Development Initiative for which we have received generous support from the Griffin & Calliacher Community Fund and The Basil Death Trust. And we hope by the year-end to be playing in our new strip at our new pitch in Aberfeldy.

As ever, we need funds to meet the cost of running the team and after a season in which social distancing has made the usual fund – raising activities impossible, the continuing support of playing and social members is vital – so please support us if you can. The membership fee (see attached form) remains the same as last year as does the roughly 20% discount on each category of membership when included within a family membership.

We always appreciate your support at matches – it does lift the team, so come along if you are free. We will publish upcoming fixtures and other news on our Facebook page as well as match reports.

Support is also welcome in the back office: jobs currently looking for a volunteer are Membership Secretary and Website Manager.

We offer a range of stylish casual wear: baseball caps, polo shirts, beanies, hoodies and smart cotton shirts all branded with the iconic Boars logo. Also available to order now is our new strip – see sizes and other details on our Facebook page.

The membership form is, we hope, self-explanatory but may we say a Standing Order is our preferred method of receiving subscriptions since it reduces administration and once established, should also be easier for members.
If you are already a member and your details remain unchanged, there is no need to re-apply; just remit your fee by BACS or Standing Order to Bank of Scotland for account Aberfeldy RFC, Sort Code 80- 22-60 Account Number 13318063. Cheques should be sent to the address below.

We hope we can look forward to your support and hope to see you at the pitch in the coming season.
